Is there at least one garden in which the Bryanskoye apple tree does not grow? One of the varieties bears fruit modestly in the garden. Bryanskoe has three subspecies, which, although they belong to the same variety, still have significant differences. Consider what the Bryansk apple tree is, a description of which will tell you everything you need to know about the variety.

The history of the creation of the variety

This variety was bred in the city of Bryansk by the breeder A.I. Astakhov. The Bryanskoe variety was born at the All-Russian Research Institute of Lupina. While working on the creation of a new kind of apples, the Vm gene was introduced into the plant's genetic system, as well as polygenes, thanks to which the tree acquired immunity to such a disease as scab.

Description

The famous scientist bred three zoned varieties at once.

Bryansk golden has the following description:

  • the variety is immune to disease;
  • the apple tree gives a high yield of fruits;
  • belongs to winter varieties and has good keeping quality;
  • when creating this apple variety, Antonovka and Golden Delicious varieties, whose homeland is America, were used.

The apple tree has inherited all the best qualities from its parents, such as:

  • good tolerance of severe frosts in the winter season;
  • resistance to disease;
  • endurance.

In addition, the American parent gave the Bryanskoe apple tree an amazing aroma. The surface color of the fruit is golden yellow. They taste sweet with a slight sourness. The pulp on the cut is white, fragrant, juicy. When apples lie for a long time, it becomes loose, but, nevertheless, the taste does not change.

The description of the Bryansk aloe variety is slightly different. The surface of the apples has a rich scarlet color with a light silvery bloom. The flesh of these apples is white, but with a slight pinkish tinge. The parents of the subspecies were apple trees SR0523 and Winner.

Bryansk pink apple tree whose description is almost the same as that of her sisters, but there are still some differences. This variety belongs to dessert fruit varieties and can grow and develop in areas with very difficult weather conditions.

Fruits can lie until December, if all optimal conditions are created for them, they can be stored throughout the winter. Taste qualities of apples have a unique palette. The juicy pulp has a sweet and sour taste with a spicy aftertaste. The aromatic aroma complements the harmony and makes the apples unforgettable.

Important! The variety Bryanskoe rozovoe is resistant to fungal diseases.

Features of the apple tree Bryansk

The tree grows to a medium height with a very high growth rate. The branches grow straight, with the ends slightly raised upwards, and form a rounded crown. The surface of the branches is smooth and has a greenish bark.

Leaves grow large, flat, with slight wrinkles. The flowers of the apple tree of this variety are pale white with a fragrant aroma. Apples grow medium to large. The weight of one fruit can be from one hundred and fifty to three hundred grams. But there were times when one apple weighed from four hundred to four hundred and fifty grams. Apples ripen in the twentieth of September. Ripe apples do not crumble, but during harvest you need to be careful not to damage the pulp.

The apple-tree of the Bryanskoe variety is fast-growing and highly fruitful. The first fruits can be obtained from this tree as early as the third year after planting.The plant bears fruit every year and bears fruit up to two hundred and seventy centners per hectare of garden area. At the same time, a record of six hundred centners was registered per hectare.

Due to its high winter hardiness, the tree can be grown within Moscow and the region. Apple fruits have excellent commercial qualities, thanks to which this variety is popular not only among individual gardeners, but also grown at the production level.

Planting and leaving

Before planting a tree, you first need to find the most suitable place for it.

Apple tree Bryanskoe is very resistant to diseases

In order for the plant to take root well and begin to actively grow and develop, you need to adhere to the following recommendations:

  • the site must have a flat area and be located in the northeast or northwest of the buildings;
  • the soil should be fertile with a neutral reaction to acidity;
  • the area where the apple tree will grow must be fully illuminated by the sun's rays;
  • groundwater must be at a depth of at least two meters;
  • it is recommended to choose the site in such a way that it is inaccessible to the winds.

Before planting seedlings, the soil is pre-prepared.

To do this, it is plowed up, and also fertilized with organic and mineral fertilizers, such as:

  • manure;
  • phosphates;
  • potash fertilizers.

Then the entire plowed area must be cultivated or harrowed, thus ridding it of weeds. After that, the pits are prepared for planting trees.

Their dimensions should be as follows:

  • width - at least one meter;
  • depth - no more than seventy centimeters.

It must be remembered that the pits are prepared in advance. There should be two or even three months before planting.

A varietal apple-tree sapling Bryanskoe is planted in autumn or spring. The most optimal planting time is spring. But you should make sure that the buds on the seedling have not yet blossomed. If you decide to plant in the autumn, then the deadline for planting a tree will be October 10th. Immediately before planting in the holes, you need to put a mixture of fertilizers, thoroughly mixed with the soil.

After filling the hole one-third the volume, you need to add another bucket of mixed humus with soil. Only then a young apple seedling is planted in the hole. The root system is carefully straightened, covered with earth and tamped.

Important! When planting the Bryanskoe apple tree, you need to ensure that the root part of the tree is not completely covered with earth.

After planting is complete, you need to make a small hole around the trunk and pour at least three buckets of water there. After that, the soil in the root zone is covered with mulch, a ball of ten centimeters. Instead of mulch, you can use sawdust, which is poured around the trunk with a twenty centimeters ball.

Thanks to mulching, in autumn the roots of a young tree will be sheltered from a cold snap and the onset of frost. If planting is done in the spring, then mulching will help to save a significant amount of moisture in the root zone during the dry season. Leave a space of half a meter between the seedlings.

So that the soil around the seedlings does not remain empty, garden crops should be planted under their crowns, such as:

  • tomatoes;
  • cucumbers;
  • bow.

Caring for a tree consists of the following actions:

  1. During the first year of apple growth, it is necessary to mulch the root zone;
  2. If there is a large amount of precipitation in the summer, then the root zone must be fluffed up. To do this, they dig it up, but they do not deepen the shovel, otherwise the roots can be damaged;
  3. In the fall, you definitely need to revive the tree;
  4. In the first year of the apple tree's life, at least six waterings must be done. In the second year, they can be reduced to four. During watering, you need to remember that at least six, or even seven buckets of water are poured under one tree;
  5. Between the apple trees, you can sow siderites, which are mowed in summer and cover the root zone of the tree with them.

You cannot do without scraps when caring for an apple tree.Thanks to them, not only the crown is formed, but also the tree begins to bear fruit more intensively. In addition, all dry and damaged branches are removed during pruning.

To get rid of pests, you need to make special traps. To do this, bags are tied to the trunk, they are pre-treated with glue, which is prepared independently using rosin and castor oil. So that the bark of a tree is not gnawed by hares, it is wrapped with roofing paper. In winter, you need to compact the snow in order to prevent small rodents from reaching the roots of the apple tree.

Advantages and disadvantages of the variety

The apple tree of the Bryanskoye variety has a large number of advantages, among which I would like to note:

  • tree resistance to scab disease;
  • the apple tree begins to bear fruit very early;
  • the fruits, upon reaching maturity, do not crumble, but remain hanging on the branches;
  • excellent presentation of fruits;
  • excellent taste.

There are practically no drawbacks to the apple tree, but it is worth noting some comments on the variety:

  • apples succumb to fruit rot;
  • the pulp changes its structure during storage.

It should be noted that the Bryanskoe apple variety is not remontant, but it ripens early.

Apple tree Bryanskoye will be an excellent find for a gardener. Moreover, it does not require special care and at the same time bears fruit perfectly.
